For a long time, there has only really been one name on the market for drawing tablets. But for the beginners out there it can be a bit pricey, and let’s face it, a little daunting. So now there is a new player on the market and for a bare-bones, nothing-too-fancy pen tablet. The Voila L by Veikk is a terric deal at under $50.00. Let’s have a closer look!

Voila L — Budget-Friendly
Ergonomics are pretty good. It’s light and comfortable to work with. Nice, uid smooth matte surface area and pen connection. Adjustable pressure sensitivity.
Build quality
Build quality The tablet feels solid in the hand, although it is pretty light. The stylus is also lightweight, solid and has a non-slip matte surface.

Controls
You can program the buttons and the dial to whatever function you wish ie; Shift, Control, \, zoom in and out. You can even program the buttons on the stylus.
Battery life
Refreshingly no batteries are required at all. No charging!
Connection
You simply connect the pen tablet to your computer with the included USB-C cable. Quick and Simple
Setup
Once I programmed my pen and tablet, it was super intuitive to use. The pen feels comfortable and the matte surface feels terri c to work with. Very precise.
Tip: Use some reusable tape and write what you have programmed the buttons for and stick on the buttons or attach a sticky note to your PC until you remember them all.
Final thoughts
The Voila is surprisingly good for only $44.99. Once installed and set up, it is super easy to use. Has nice solid uid movement and details. The buttons and dials are basic, but honestly, you don’t need too many to work well. I was impressed by the build quality and the performance.
